:bulletblue: Role of the Club

Floons United is a community based account in which we are bringing together members of Deviantart who have the same interest in the club's theme.  Which are the Pokémon characters Drifloon and Drifblim.  We include artwork in our gallery that has these characters in the picture.  Other Pokémon or unrelated characters are acceptable.  All media is accepted; Traditional, digital, photography, sculptures, plushies, cakes, etc.

:bulletblue: General Rules

:bulletred: First things first, LOVE THE FLOONS.  :)

:bulletred: No flamming.  Please be civil, and polite to other members.

:bulletred: Abide by the rules of Deviantart.  Read more at the site's Help & FAQ.

:bulletred: No content is allowed over a rating of PG-13, since Pokémon attracts a lot of young members.  THIS INCLUDES LINKS that go to a page with outward sexual themes, extreme violence, or nudity.

:bulletred: No spamming.  This is against Deviantart's regulations, and we will report you to an official Deviantart admin, who will ban you unconditionally.  The site has ZERO tolerance for spammers.

:bulletred: Make sure to watch the club if you're a member.

:bulletblue: Submission Regulations

When members submit artwork to the club, we require them to edit their original deviation with "I give FloonsUnited full permission to post this in their club."  Or a statement along those lines.  They are also encouraged to turn on the Creative Commons option.

IF THE ARTWORK HAS USED ANY COPYRIGHTED OR ALREADY DRAWN MATERIAL THAT IS NOT STOCK, WE WILL NOT SUBMIT IT TO THE CLUB.  CREDITING THE ORIGINAL DOES NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE ARTIST.

We also have the right to report any person who violates these rules within their own Deviantart site.

Read more here:
- FAQ #8: What are violations of the DeviantArt copyright policy?
- FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?
- FAQ #306: Does "Crediting" let me use whatever I want?

:bulletblue:Comments and Feedback

We disable all the deviation's comments and discourage favorites in the club unless one of the club administrators states otherwise.  Meaning, that the she has made the following submissions herself, and does not require feedback from her own account.

If a user who is not a member of the club has added a submission to their Favorites, they will receive a polite note asking them to remove their favorite and to give credit to the original deviation.  A link will always be provided in the note to make the process easier to the offender.

If a member of the club has added a submission to their Favorites, they will receive the same information as listed above.  And we will also add a warning that they could be banned from the club if they refuse to remove it.

If a member has a second offense with adding favorites and delaying their removal, they will be giving a total of 2 days to remove it before being banned from the club.

PLEASE NOTE:  The club/founder will know if it has been 2 days since the member has read the Removal Notice.  As the notes in the Sent Box turn grey when the person reads them.  And since the club checks in daily, we can easily track the days.

:bulletblue: Copyright Information

Any artwork produced for this community or featured in it is fanart of Pokémon which is copyright to Game Freak, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Satoshi Tajiri. None of the artists or this community claim that any of the Pokémon characters is their own creation and everything in the gallery is submitted under fan art and contains copyright information in every pieces description.

Please make sure to read what fan art is acceptable on this site:

Just checking in on something:
Due to the younger members of the club like you mentioned, we can't have sexual references and nudity in our club submissions etc.

When I draw the human-form pokemon, I usually don't give them clothes because I feel it is un-natural that way, I prefer to try to show that it's the pokemon by using body features and colouring, not by having clothes that resemble the pokemon.
HOWEVER I often cover up certain body parts with things like clouds and all that.

Is that still acceptable? Example: my submissions here with the Halloween drifloon covered by the pumpkin and the other drifloon covered by cloud. No one has said anything about it to me yet so I guess what I'm doing there is okay? I don't make them nude to be sexual or anything like that, it's just because of the non natural thing like I explained above.

sorry, long comment! Just thought I would check this out :)
also sorry for my inactivity in the last few... ages :( I've been so busy lately with university and work. I hope to improve soooon
